Through our green initiatives, we focus on reducing our environmental footprint, supporting biodiversity, and promoting a healthier community.
Launched in 2023 in support of Edmonton’s Food Bank, Kingsway’s rooftop garden has become a leading example of urban gardening in Edmonton. Alongside more than 100 planters and garden beds growing fresh produce, herbs, potatoes, and leafy greens, the rooftop is also home to a beehive operated in partnership with local beekeeper Steve’s Bees Knees.
Please note there is no public access to the rooftop garden.

Kingsway was proudly awarded the BOMA BEST Gold Certification in 2023. BOMA (Building Owners & Managers Association) is the leading environmental certification program for commercial buildings. The BOMA BEST program sets national benchmarks for sustainability in building operations.
